Louis Vuitton was the first manufacturer of «furqan designer» and since he started it all off plenty of others have jumped on the designer bag bandwagon, no doubt seeing a good opportunity to make a lot of money by turning what should be just an ordinary utilitarian article into a prized object of fantasies and dreams. Why is a designer bag so expensive ? well, why not ? If people are willing to pay ever-increasing amounts of money to carry stuff about in, then why deprive them of that God-given right ?
